Six stones balancing on top of one another

‘Why me?’

Chronic health issues don’t just happen because ‘you’re getting on a bit’. While ageing can increase your risk of developing certain conditions (heart disease, diabetes and arthritis, for example), there is usually a complex mix of various factors that may have contributed to the development of your condition or symptoms.

Unwelcome symptoms and ill-health are usually signs of imbalances within your body – maybe you’re not getting enough of something your body needs or getting too much of something it doesn’t.

Where are the imbalances in your body?

What kinds of symptoms and conditions can nutritional therapy support?

Nutritional therapy can support many different health challenges. Through my own experiences, I am particularly interested in:

  • Joint pain and bone health

  • Skin issues

  • Allergies

  • Fatigue or low energy

  • Stress

  • Poor sleep

  • Hormone imbalances

  • Digestion problems

  • Migraines/headaches

  • High cholesterol

  • High blood pressure

  • Blood sugar imbalances

  • Weight management

  • Autoimmune conditions

My approach

During consultations, I turn detective. By understanding your symptoms, your food and lifestyle habits, your health history and your family’s health, we can begin to pinpoint the root cause of your condition or symptoms.

Using the latest scientific research (and sometimes test results), I’ll provide a nutrition and lifestyle plan that’s tailored to you and the pace you want to work at.

We’ll work together (alongside your GP, if appropriate) to help address those imbalances and make positive changes that will enable you to regain control of your life.
